In these applications Worldwide Laser again demonstrates laser marking products for identification, protection of the product from counterfeiting, and use of laser marking systems to eliminate ink, paper labels and solvents providing an eco friendly green product marking alternative to industry through the use of laser marking systems.
For the wooden instrument a laser is used to scribe a name [model number, instrument dimensions, part number, and logo] on the instrument the laser marking system utilized was a 30 watt Co2 air cooled laser system with WLSC laser controller software, WLSC galvo head complete with 300mm focus lens.
In the next application an 355nm UV laser marking system the LP9000U series was used to laser mark plastics without the use of additives or agents the LP9000U series of Laser Marking systems from Worldwide Laser can be used to create a color contrasting highly readable mark on almost any plastic surface; laser marking with a 355nm laser generally leaves the surface of the part smooth to the touch without etching as laser marking is achieved without the transfer of heat into the product generally associated with Co2 and YAG/Fiber laser marking systems making the LP9000U 355nm laser marking system from Worldwide Laser perfect for many pharmaceutical and medical devise applications.
